Once on the Alaska Highway from Whitehorse towards Haines Junction you can see in the distance the snow covered tops of the St. Elias Mountains of Kluane National Park. From these mountains spills one of the largest non-polar ice fields of the world and on a clear day your can see Mt. Logan, (19,850 feet) North American’s second highest peak. Kluane and its American counterpart Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, were jointly declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

After half an hour ride from Haines Junction following the impressive mountains you can see Kluane Lake, which is the largest lake in the Yukon Territory at 70 km long. With June to August offering almost twenty-four hours of day light, your fishing time for Lake Trout, Northern Pike,Grayling and Whitefish is unlimited.. September brings the spectacular, ever changing Aurora Borealis more commonly known as the Northern Lights. The wildlife around the lake provides photo enthusiasts with the opportunity to capture moose, bears, wolves, bald eagles, loons, ducks, swans and countless wild flowers.

This is where our main cabin is located and surrounded by exceptional scenery. With a brilliant view across the lake to the Ruby Range and the majestic St Elias mountains on the other side. Without exaggeration that we can say we will offer you the best base for whatever activities you would like. After a seemingly endless day enjoy the midnight sun with a walk on the beach and listen to the crash of the waves, you will be amazed.
